Domain Search and Registration
A domain name is a web address. It's how visitors find your website on the World Wide Web. For example, our domain name is elanwebdesign.com. Before you can publish a website, you must decide on a domain name, do a search to make sure it is available, and register it. You will also need to make sure the nameservers are pointed to the web server you will be using.
If you do not have a domain name, we can take care of it for you. We can do a domain name search and registration and change the nameservers. We only charge $15 to search for your domain name and register a domain for one year. Domain names need to be renewed at least once a year.
Website Hosting and Basic Maintenance
Once your website is created, someone has to load the files on a web server and manage and maintain the files. We provide this service to our customers for a small monthly fee.
Basic Search Engine Optimization
Search Engine Optimization can be a time-consuming and expensive ongoing task. There are many factors to consider and there are no guarantees. We do basic search engine optimization which means that we code our web pages with search engines in mind. We also submit your site to the major search engine companies. This is a free service to our web design clients. Our clients have reported favorable results from our efforts to create websites that are search engine friendly!
We provide free email setup for our hosting clients. We can provide web base email or forward your new email address to your current email address.
Forms, Flash Animation, and more
We can provide a number of enhancements to your existing site including Flash files, JavaScript code, PHP forms, or a number of other features. Just let us know what features you want to add to enhance your website.
Website Maintenance
Our Monthly hosting fee includes minor text changes. For very simple changes, such as modifying a few lines of text, there is usually no charge. More involved changes to your site, such as adding new pages, adding a form, complete revisions of pages, graphics work, work that requires programming, etc., will require a fee.
